A concert presenting songs written by Burt Bacharach brings a trans-Atlantic feel to Viapori’s Thursday night. The classic American composer was especially known for the brilliant songs he wrote for some of the great singers of our time, like Dionne Warwick and Dusty Springfield. The interpretive chain formed by these two and many others is now joined by two of Finland’s most soulful vocalists Emma Salokoski and Tuomo Prättälä. It’s like molasses in your ear on a hot August night!
Tuomo Prättälä - vocals & keyboards
Emma Salokoski - vocals
Linda Fredriksson - saxophones
