Aki Rissanen // Jussi Lehtonen Quartet with Dave Liebman
(+ Dave Liebman)
The event of this July at Koko Jazz Club will, indisputably, be the visit of the legendary saxophonist Dave Liebman. Having performed in the ranks of Aki Rissanen and Jussi Lehtonen Quartet several times recently, the experienced Liebman has taught a number of things to his younger-generation Finnish colleagues: "One gig on stage with Dave Liebman is corresponds to one year of studying at a jazz academy", says pianist Rissanen.
