Zazambor goes Swing – The Music of Sampo KasurinenMusiikkitalo, Black Box, helsinki8.10. At 19:00
The question posed in saxophonist Sampo Kasurinen’s Master’s concert is, ”What if?”.
What if swing music had developed in a completely different direction and been influenced by the musical language of its contemporary era? This process is now being catalysed by the brilliant modern accordionist Harri Kuusijärvi. In this swing band, Kuusijärvi and his instrument seem to come from another planet.
