Jazz Finland Live

Pianist and composer Aaron Diehl is one of the most sought after jazz virtuosos, playing with melodic precision, harmonic erudition and elegant restraint. Diehl’s meticulously thought-out performances, collaborations and compositions are a leading force in today´s generation of jazz contemporaries, spearheading a distinct union of traditional and fresh artistry.

Diehl has collaborated with living masters ranging from from NEA Jazz Master Benny Golson to 20th century classical titan Philip Glass, while establishing himself as one of the preeminent interpreters of the Great American Songbook in his own trio and with the vocalist Cécile McLorin Salvant. He is known also to perform with New York Philharmonic, Cleveland Orchestra and Los Angeles Philharmonic. His latest album The Vagabond will be released on Mack Avenue Records in the November 2019.
