Émile Parisien Quartet (FR),G Livelab, helsinki2.3. At 20:00
The music of French saxophonist Émile Parisien demands focused listening: catchy melodies are at the same time moving and clever, and while grounded in the French jazz tradition, it is also open towards other genres. At G Livelab Émile Parisien Quartet performs tunes from their latest album “Double Screening”, which was recently given the annual German Record Critics’ Award.
