Celebrating his 80th year in 2024, musician John Surman introduces a new project, "Words Unspoken." Collaborating with guitarist Rob Luft, vibraphonist Rob Waring, and drummer Thomas Strønen, "Words Unspoken" continues the musical journey initiated by Surman's previous "Invisible Threads" trio. Noteworthy for incorporating percussion and electronic elements into the sonic landscape, the album is set to be released on the ECM label in spring 2024.
