Mimie Moore is a surprising acoustic trio – Elina Brooks, Maija Kurki, and Saana Trygg-Nevanlinna. Their music moves wildly between moods, blending humor and seriousness with rich vocal harmonies. Featuring vocals, bucket bass, accordion, and washboard, the trio creates a down-to-earth sound that brings a touch of the old world to new music.
They have performed widely across Finland and Germany and collaborated with numerous musicians. The trio was awarded in Basso Radio's NOST€ competition and has produced music for, among others, the Finnish national skateboarding team.
In 2025, the group celebrates its 10-year anniversary with the "10 Years of Honey" tour. For the occasion, they perform as the seven-member Mimie Moore Jazz Edition, combining bold lyrics and strong melodies with top-tier jazz musicians: Esko Grundström (bass), Mikko "Gunu" Karjalainen (trumpet/piano), Veikki Virkajärvi (guitar), and Jaska Lukkarinen (drums).

As part of the festival, Kerava Jazz hosts its traditional jam session, where attending musicians dive into the world of jazz standards. The house band is led by guitarist Lasse Keso, who also serves as the jam session host.
