Johanna Iivanainen & Salo Jazz Quartet
Johanna Iivanainen (b. 1976) is a Finnish jazz vocalist from Oulu. Her first solo album, the self-titled Johanna Iivanainen, came out in 2004, containing her original compositions in her own arrangements. She has released two other albums and collaborated with, among others, Jukka Perko, Eero Koivistoinen , Tuomas Holopainen and Pepe Willberg.
In 2002 Iivanainen was awarded with the Louis Armstrong award and the next year she was granted the very first Sony Jazz award by Sony Electronics Finland and the Finnish Jazz Federation. She won the Jazz Emma Prize for her performance in Iro Haarla and Ulf Krokfors's group Loco Motife in 2005. She has also been selected as the best Finnish jazz singer in Jazzrytmit magazine critics' poll in 2005.

Jake Hertzog Trio
Jake Hertzog (b. 1986) is an open-minded and original young guitarist, with exceptional creative powers. Hertzog won the Gibson Guitar competition at Montreux Jazz Festival in 2006 when he was only 20, making him the youngest winner of the prize. He graduated from Berklee College of Music the next year, and based himself as a jazz-rock guitarist in New York.
His trio has been active since 2008 and their newest album features the trumpet legend Randy Brecker. Hertzog has appeared on several records as a guest artist and worked as a producer.
