VIAPORI JAZZ 2016: OLLI SOIKKELI RHYTHM FUTURE QUARTET
26th of August 7PM Tenalji von Fersen,  Suomenlinna
25€ | K18

This group has a mission: to preserve the legacy and spirit of gypsy jazz. Guitarist Olli Soikkeli currently resides in the US but now we can hear his band on stage with Finnish friends at Viapori Jazz. Their starting point is the music of Django Reinhart and there’s “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue” here. Plus it swings.

Olli Soikkeli – guitar
Jason Anick – violin
Tomi Kettunen – guitar
Teemu Åkerblom – bass
