Trumpetist Verneri Pohjola has acclaimed fame as one of Europe's most creative and original jazz musicians due to his strong sound and rich interpretations. Pohjola's latest album The Dead Don't Dream combines his influences from previous records into a beautiful, finely constructed whole. Pohjola and Tuomo Prättälä have played together in several ensembles over the last 20 years.
The concert is part of SaloJazz Summer tour taking place in Förby, Mathildedal and Rikalanmäki. The organizers will follow corona restrictions and tickets will be sold in a limited fashion. The audience will be instructed to follow the contemporary safety regulations and recommendations at the venue.
The concert is produced in collaboration with Matildankartano, Jazz Finland Live, Salon kaupunki and Creatika.
