Jazz Finland Live

Hyperreal is a fusion of two duos. The band leader, pianist Aki Rissanen has an extensive musical history with Verneri Pohjola, Europe’s leading trumpetist. Rissanen has also played a lot with Robert Ikiz, known best from Nils Langren’s group. Hyperreal plays shamelessly clear Nordic jazz mixed with Middle Eastern rhythms, electronics and breakbeats from the early 90s.
