Free entry

Joonas Tuuri Quartet plays modern jazz. The focus of Joonas Tuuri's music is beautiful and catchy melodies, strong atmospheres and well-honed joint playing and improvisation. Sensitive communication between musicians always makes the music flow in unique and unpredictable ways.

Iiro Rantala & Stadin Stuff is a tribute to two top bands: Stuff and Steve Gadd Gang. These bands that were influential in the 1980s and 90s and created their very own sound, which is a mix of pop, gospel and rhythm & blues. The original playing style of drummer Steve Gadd and pianist Richard Tee was the main factor behind this new sound. Stuff's musicians came to the public's attention when they worked as Paul Simon's band in the 80s.

Kaupunkijazz is an annual event organized by Ylöjärvi city's cultural services in August.
