The Outsider Art Festival, which gives a voice to outsider artists, is coming to Sellosali with a bang as the Finnish organ supergroup Salonen-Gustavson-Gröhn performs to celebrate the release of their new album, 3 x 3. This trio of Hammond electric organs plays groovy rhythm music with a truly massive organ sound.

Kalle Salonen is a Finnish groove jazz musician and composer, whose main instrument is the Hammond organ. Salonen was selected as an artist for the OAF Academy of the Outsider Art Festival in 2023 for a six-month residency. Joining Salonen on stage are two seasoned veterans: Jukka Gustavson, a legend known from the band Wigwam, and Pekka Gröhn, a skilled player who performs with J. Karjalainen's band. The exceptional collective sound of these three organ masters is complemented by Teuvo Merkkiniemi (bass), Hannu Pikkarainen (drums), Antero Priha (trumpet), and Panu Syrjänen (saxophone).

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes, no intermission.
The concert features unnumbered seating. A limited number of pay-what-you-want tickets will be available at the door.
