Andy Emler trio (FR) - The Useful Report (www)
The iconic trio formed by the pianist Andy Emler with Claude Tchamitchian on double bass and Eric Echampard on drums has been an outstanding unit on the French Jazz scene for twenty-five years. In March 2025 the trio celebrates its jubilee with a Spring musical journey of 6 concerts in Finland.
“There is Another Way”. For this new adventure of his trio, Andy has asked from the closest fans of the band what peculiar features of the music they appreciate the most. He has written new tunes in which written and random parts tell us about the strong optimism of the three protagonists. Whatever material they perform their tight interplay remains the main asset of this uplifting unit.
