This year, the legendary figure of Finnish jazz, Juhani "Junnu" Aaltonen, celebrates his 90th birthday. He will be performing at the Linnajazz Club with his phenomenal ensemble: on drums is Reiska Laine, who has collaborated with Junnu since the 1960s; on double bass, the brilliant Ulf Krokfors; and on piano, the magnificent Iro Haarla. The soulful sound of the group stems from decades of experience and countless productions.
