For their new album De bergtagna, inspiration and material has been taken from folk tradition, with a special focus on music related to the archipelago and the sea.

AT 17.30 FUTURE FOOD FACTORY

Mikko Hassinen – drums,  electronics, Max Zenger – woodwinds, Mikko Antila – vibraphone, Antti Ahoniemi – bass

Future Food Factory is drummer Mikko Hassinen’s new ensemble whose sound marks a shift towards a more acoustic and smaller-scale jazz expression, creating a counterbalance to the electronic sounds of his other ensemble, Elektro GT. Hassinen’s new ensemble features young and instrumentally bold jazz artists who, according to Hassinen, dare to ignore musical instructions and even question written notations.
