Vocal ensemble Signe, recognized with Jazz Emma and Teosto Award nominations, captivates with their presence, powerful solo interpretations, and original compositions. The group's distinctive music has been pushing the boundaries of jazz, art pop, and contemporary music since 2014. The ensemble is composed of Helsinki-based vocalists Josefiina Vannesluoma, Riikka Keränen, and Selma Savolainen, along with double bassist Kaisa Mäensivu, who also operates in New York.

The concert will feature music from the ensemble's Onomatopoesia album trilogy, which explores uncharted territories of the human voice. The whole endeavor is an exploration of sensitization and the need to anchor oneself in changing environments. The albums evolve from the smallest units of language—sounds—to syllables, words, and ultimately lyrics. The second part of the trilogy, focused on syllables and titled Morphemes, was recognized with a Jazz Emma nomination. The trilogy was completed with Syntax, released in June 2023, featuring compositions by Signe members Josefiina Vannesluoma and Selma Savolainen with lyrics.
