Klo 19:00 Tom Ollendorff Trio + Tim Garland

British guitarist Tom Ollendorff is considered one of the most intriguing young talents in contemporary jazz. In Ollendorff's distinctive sound, virtuosic guitar skills blend with sophisticated harmonic and melodic ideas, stylishly grooving themes, baroque-style etudes, and brisk fast-bop swing. Ollendorff's latest album, Open House (Fresh Sound Records, May 2023), will be celebrated with a European tour that extends all the way to the April Jazz Club in Espoo.

Joining Ollendorff's trio lineup on the tour is the acclaimed saxophonist Tim Garland, who has collaborated with Chick Corea for over 15 years. Tom Ollendorff himself has worked with internationally respected musicians such as Geoff Simkins, Bill McHenry, Jeff Williams, Nitai Hershkovits, and Ari Hoenig. The rising star guitarist's new album is a milestone for British jazz and the future of guitar music.
