Jazz Finland Live

At Turku Jazz Festival’s concert for the whole family, we’ll join Mur-karhu to meet other animals in the forest. The partly improvised and partly composed music of top duo Mikko Gunu Karjalainen and Timo Kämäräinen is combined with the ancient tradition of fairy tales. Nature-themed stories and images as well as the skillful animation makes one think about important questions.

Kaisa Happonen and Karri ”Paleface” Miettinen – narrators
Mikko Gunu Karjalainen – trumpet and piano
Timo Kämäräinen – guitar and vocals
Anne Vasko – pictures
Carlos da Cruz – animation
