Gregory Porter returns to Finland for the second time since his debut in 2014, now performing at the Concert Hall of the Music Centre. His seventh album, "All Rise," released in 2020, is his most personal recording to date, featuring autobiographical lyrics composed by Porter himself. The double-CD "Still Rising," launched in November 2021, reflects on his career so far, including new songs and arrangements, as well as duets with artists like Jamie Collum and Dianne Reeves.

Gregory Porter made his debut in 2010, captivating the jazz world with his impressive talent. His debut album was a Grammy-nominated for Best Jazz Vocal Album, and subsequent releases have earned him multiple Grammy Awards. A major source of inspiration for Porter is the legendary Nat "King" Cole, and his fifth album served as a tribute to this icon. Gregory Porter is often compared to Cole due to his powerful baritone and smooth phrasing.
